FOCUS TRAINING
Do I need to have worked cattle before?
No. Focus Training is designed to build the foundations for cattle work. Many riders start here prior to entering the pen.
Is this suitable for green horses?
Yes, provided your horse is riding quietly and safely. Focus Training emphasises softness, control, and understanding.
What will we work on?
Rider position, leg aids, body control, softness, and progression into mechanical cow work where appropriate.
How many riders are in a session?
Small groups to allow individual feedback and progression.
Do I need my own horse?
Yes. Riders must supply their own horse and gear.
SMALL GROUP TRAINING SESSIONS
Who are these sessions best suited for?
Riders who already have basic control and are ready to work cattle in a coached environment.
How many riders per session?
Small group sizes to ensure quality coaching and safe cattle work.
Limited to up to 6.
In the event that there is more then 6 riders additional time will be added to ensure value for money.
Will I get individual feedback?
Yes. While these are group sessions, coaching is tailored to each rider and horse.
Are cattle supplied?
Yes, when cattle sessions are scheduled.
What should I bring?
Your horse, standard riding gear, water, and a positive mindset.

What are private lessons best for?
Specific challenges, confidence building, targeted skill development, or tailored cattle work.
Can private lessons include cattle?
Yes, depending on availability and suitability.
